Järvenpää city will procure a new school. As project objective is that the school will be the best school in Finland. The client is Mestaritoiminta with Boost Brothers as their partner. The project will be carried out in close cooperation with city of Järvenpää’s service office for children and adolescents.
In the project planning and project preparation were used, among other things, the lesson learnt in the new social and health care centre project, praised especially for its utilization of building information modelling and user-centric approach models.
As project model was chosen a pure project alliance, because of the tight schedule and budget. The budget of the project is €20 million. The target is to procure a project alliance substantially more effectively than conventional procurements. One of the goals is to take the user-centric approach to a new level. This is important, because the user will develop its processes throughout the project.
Project development phase began in April 2017, and the construction will begin in early 2018.
