Järvenpää New Social and Health Center
Järvenpää New Social and Health Center (JUST) was completed in January 2016 according to the principles of open construction. JUST was completed in schedule and in budget.

Kinnari School
The new school of Kinnari was completed in 2019. The school is an energy class A building, and it was designed following the latest principles in pedagogy. It is an example of an exceptionally demanding school project that was built using the principles of open construction.

Tikkurila Church
Tikkurila Church was inaugurated in January 2021. The construction project that considered life cycle thinking was carried out as a project alliance. The project was completed in schedule and in budget.

Thermal Energy Storage
The VECTES (Vantaa Energy Cavern Thermal Energy Storage) is a seasonal energy storage project, which enables harnessing the warmth of summer for the cold winter days.
The largest cavern thermal energy storage facility in the world will be implemented by using the EPCM model.
Building the thermal energy storage will play a key role on the path to fossil free production in Vantaa. Planned completion of the project is in 2028.

Seawater Heat Recovery Project
In the Sea Water Heat Recovery Project, the world’s largest sea water system and a heat pump plant is being planned in Salmisaari, Helsinki. The project is being implemented by using an alliance model in an international co-operation.
The project is a significant step towards carbon neutral energy production. At the end of the development phase, a decision will be made to move to the implementation phase, which will last approximately five years.

Koskela Depot
Metropolitan Area Transport Ltd is building Koskela Depot in Helsinki. The depot project is one part of the solution to manage the growing needs for railway traffic in Helsinki in the near future.
The depot project is planned to be completed in 2027. The project is being implemented with highly ambitious environmental goals.

Rail Profiling
Train traffic wears out the train tracks in multiple ways. Profiling is needed to repair and prevent the damages. The Railway track profiling project aims to improve the usability of the Finnish track network and to reduce the need to renew the tracks in the whole track network in Finland.
The project owner is Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency.
Boost Brothers works as the owner’s construction management specialist, supervisor, and safety coordinator in the project.
Hailuoto Causeway
Hailuoto municipality is an island in the Northern Finland near Oulu city. The aim of this unique project in Finland is to build a causeway between Hailuoto and Oulu. Currently there is a ferry service between Riutunkari in Oulu and Huikku on Hailuoto. In the wintertime, there is also an ice road between the island and the mainland depending on ice conditions.
The causeway will make Hailuoto more easily accessible nationally and regionally, enable better passenger and goods transport links to the island and local businesses.
The project owner is Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. The project is implemented using an alliance model and it’s currently in the implementation phase. The construction work started in May 2024.
Boost Brothers works as the owner’s alliance specialist and the project’s safety coordinator.
Harjula Campus
Harjula campus construction in Järvenpää, Southern Finland was completed in 2022. As a result, the campus holds new, healthy, and secure facilities that follow the new learning environment guidelines for elementary school and early childhood education. The new campus area serves 600 schoolkids and children in daycare.
Boost Brothers worked as the project’s construction management specialist and was responsible of briefing, procurements, steering of the design and main construction works, and delivery management together with the project owner Mestaritoiminta Ltd.
Harjula campus construction project was carried out using the Milestone solution Boost Brothers has developed. The Milestone solution uses pre-planned and agreed milestones to monitor project progress. In Harjula, the Milestone solution was implemented in both planning and construction phases.
Järvenpää Co-Educational School
Successful functional solutions describe the new school facilities of Järvenpää co-educational school in Järvenpää city, Southern Finland. The facilities have been designed in close co-operation with the facility users taking the educational needs into consideration.
The first phase of the construction project, the new building, was completed in schedule in spring 2023. The project owner is Mestaritoiminta Ltd.
Boost Brothers works as the owner’s construction management specialist in the project. The project tasks Boost is responsible for include briefing, procurement of planning and main construction works, steering design and construction phases.
In the first phase, Boost Brothers was also responsible for coordinating the user co-operation, project delivery auditing, HVAC supervision, client procurements, and coordinating the deployment.

Lahti Southern Ring Road
The aim of the Lahti Southern Ring Road project was to ensure smoother and safer transport on the main road No 12 in Southern Finland. In addition, another aim was to improve conditions for land use development and business throughout the Lahti city region.
The project was completed in 2020. The project owner is Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency.
Boost Brothers worked as the owner’s procurement and alliance specialist in the subproject 1B, which was implemented as a project alliance.
In addition, Boost Brothers developed a new research method that measures the success of construction projects and Boost carried out the entire project’s impact evaluation by using a post-evaluation method.

New Kirjalansalmi and Hessundinsalmi Bridges
The new bridges of Kirjalansalmi and Hessundinsalmi will secure and preserve the main road connection to Pargas and Turku archipelago region in Southwest Finland.
New bridges will be built to replace the old ones that have reached the end of their lifecycle. In addition, the project supports the development of the Pargas business life and land use, improves the safe and smooth flow of traffic and provides better living comfort.
The project will also enable the deployment of heavier transportations that are essential for the industry in the Pargas area.
The project owner is Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. Boost Brothers works in the project as the owner’s alliance specialist and expedites the project towards the owner’s set goals.
